Good Morning.
Ukraine is secretly developing an "army of robots" through approximately 250 local defense startups, producing unmanned ground vehicles and other robotic platforms to gain a tactical advantage against Russia.
This initiative, which began in 2023, aims to reduce human casualties and increase military effectiveness by utilizing remotely-operated machines for combat support, medical evacuation, and supply missions.
The success of Ukraine's drone program has fueled this expansion into ground-based robotic systems, with production expected to increase significantly in 2024.
